Welcome to lauramilano.co.uk. If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms of use, which together with our Privacy and Cookie Policy govern our relationship with you in relation to this website. means any and all text, images, audio, video, scripts, code, software, databases, and any other form of information capable of being stored on a computer that appears on, or forms part of, Our Site; and “We/Us/Our” means Laura Milano Nutritional Therapist.

2.1  The term ‘Laura Milano’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website which is owned and operated by "Laura Milano Nutrition"; with a registered office of Flat 3, 15 Monza Street, London E1W 3TL. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

2.2 We provide nutrition advice online between the hours of 7 am-9 pm Monday to Sunday. This service consists of pre-screening to obtain relevant information to refer you to the right nutritional therapy or health coach service within our offer. When determining the appropriate service you need to contact us so we can send you further information about next steps to book a consultation appointment.

2.3 We are are regulated by the following bodies:

  • Complementary and Natural HealthCare Council (CNHC)

  • BANT

  • Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP)

4. Access to Our Site

 

4.1  Access to Our Site is free of charge.

4.2  It is your responsibility to make the arrangements necessary in order to access Our Site.

4.3  Access to Our Site is provided on an “as is” and on an “as available” basis. We may suspend or discontinue Our Site (or any part of it) at any time. We do not guarantee that Our Site will always be available or that access to it will be uninterrupted. If We suspend or discontinue Our Site (or any part of it), We will try to give you reasonable notice of the suspension or discontinuation.

4.4 The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

4.5 We don’t provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. 11.  Our Liability

 

11.1 To the fullest extent permissible by law, We accept no liability for any loss or damage, whether foreseeable or otherwise, in contract, tort (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the use of (or inability to use) Our Site or the use of or reliance upon any Content included on Our Site

11.2 We may provide interactive services through lauramilano.co.uk which may include online consultations (interactive services). Where we do provide any interactive service, we will provide clear information to you about the kind of service offered, if it is moderated and what form of moderation is used.

11.3 If users, in particular children, are at risk when they use our interactive services we will decide in each case what type of moderation to use in light of these risks. However, we are under no obligation to oversee, monitor or moderate any interactive service we provide on our site beyond the minimum levels set out by our regulators, and we expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of any interactive service by a user in contravention of our content standards, whether the service is moderated or not.

11.4 The use of any of our interactive services by a minor is subject to the consent of their parent or guardian. We advise parents who permit their children to use an interactive service that it is important that they communicate with their children about their safety online, as moderation is not without its limitations.   2. Issue you with a written warning;

  3. Take legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of any and all relevant costs on an indemnity basis resulting from your breach;

  4. Take further legal action against you, as appropriate;

  5. Disclose such information to law enforcement authorities as required or as We deem reasonably necessary; and/or

  6. Any other actions which We deem reasonably appropriate (and lawful).

13.3   We hereby exclude any and all liability arising out of any actions that We may take (including, but not limited to those set out above in Part 13.2) in response to your breach.

 

14. How We Use Your Personal Information

We will only use your personal information as set out in Our Privacy & Cookie Policy, and Our Disclosure Policy.

 

15. Communications from Us

 

15.1   If  We have your contact details, We may send you important notices by email from time to time. Such notices may relate to matters including, but not limited to, changes to Our Site or to these terms of use.

15.2   We will not send you marketing emails without your express consent. If you do consent to marketing, you may opt out at any time. All marketing emails from Us include an unsubscribe link. If you opt out of emails from Us, it may take up to 7 working days for your request to take effect and you may continue to receive emails during that time.

15.3   For questions or complaints about communications from Us, please contact Us using the details above in Part 3.

 

16.  Cancellation of appointments

 

16.1 ​To ensure we can provide the best consultation service to all our clients, we operate on a 48 hour cancellation policy. To cancel or re-schedule a nutrition consultation please contact us; we will always use our discretion and try as best as possible to accommodate your requirements. 

16.2 By undergoing a consultation with us you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the cancellation policy. If you need to cancel with less than 48 hours of notice then we reserve the right to charge the full fee. You shall pay all amounts due without exception as required by law​​

16.3 All the cancellations need to be addressed to laura@lauramilano.co.uk 48 hours prior to the appointment time.

 

17. Law and Jurisdiction 

17.1   These terms of use, and the relationship between you and Us (whether contractual or otherwise) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, English law.

17.2   If you are a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law in your country of residence. 

17.3   If you are a consumer, any dispute, controversy, proceedings, or claim between you and Us relating to these terms of use or to the relationship between you and Us (whether contractual or otherwise) shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, as determined by your residency.
